Jim Parsley takes pride in his authentic recreation of bringing “Memories of Elvis” to fans all over the country. Jim has always loved singing and has been an Elvis fan since the age of 11. He made his singing debut in church at the age of 17 inspired by the style and passion of Elvis. Unlike some tribute artists, Jim doesn't claim to be the second coming of the king and believes that no one will ever fill those shoes.
Whether he’s portraying Elvis’ hip swinging, leg shaking style of the 50’s dressed in gold lame, the 68 Comeback in black leather, or the 70’s concert years, he recreates the details of Elvis’ live performances for the fans. Jim’s exceptional talent, vocal capacity, and charisma never fail to captivate the audience. His interaction with them makes the audience feel like part of the show. Just like Elvis, Jim loves singing and entertaining and is truly in his element when he’s on stage performing.
Jim has performed at concerts, clubs, corporate events, private parties and fund-raisers. He has been featured on TV and in various newspaper articles and will be appearing in a soon to be released movie titled “Bamboo Shark”, starring Mickey Rooney.
Jim Parsley is an Award Winning Elvis Tribute Artist who won First Place in two of the three competitions he entered and placed in the other. His most recent win was in September 2006 in Dewey Beach.
He is available for all types of bookings including casinos, cruise ships, conventions, concerts, clubs, corporate and private events and he will tailor his show to meet the needs of specialized presentations and themed events.
